It was a quiet opening 45 minutes with neither side able to find a breakthrough. The Swans come closest with efforts from Nieve Jenkins glancing a header wide of the post on the 15th minute.

They had another opportunity two minutes later, when a brilliant piece of skills from Stacey John-Davies saw her break through on goal. She attempted a dipping effort but it dropped over the bar.

Emotions began to raise late in the half. Jenkins and Seren Watkins picking up yellow cards for a scuffle in the box. The quiet half come to an end goalless.

The home side had the first strike on goal in the second half just two minutes in. Ceryn Chamberlain held comfortably for the away side.

Swansea defender Alicia Powe picked up a yellow card on the 65th minute for a late challenge.

Just two minutes later the away side broke the deadlock. Molly Kehoe played through and she broke away to be one on one with the Swans keeper. She calmly slotted away to give the Bluebirds the lead on the 67th minute.

The home side were unhappy that the goal was awarded, believing that Kehoe was offside when played through. Defenders Ellie Lake and Jessica Williams were booked for their protests.

Cardiff substitute Rhianne Oakley, who entered the field on the 63rd minute was the person to come closest to a second goal in the game. She cut inside late on but her strike took a slight deflection before dropping over the bar.

The final whistle was blown after the resulting corner, leading to celebrations from the Cardiff bench, as they maintain their unbeaten run.
