Bala Town kept their survival hopes alive with an emphatic 5–0 win over Llanelli Town in the Cymru Premier. Bala came into this game needing a win to stand any chance of survival in the JD Cymru Premier next season.
Bala dominated from the outset against an already-relegated Llanelli side, taking full control of the match. Cameron Ferguson opened the scoring, continuing his strong form, before Ross White doubled the lead to give Bala a comfortable halftime advantage.
After the break, Jacob Tarasenko made it 3–0, Sam Billington added a superb fourth with a volley, and Tarasenko completed his brace to seal a comprehensive victory.
Cameron Ferguson becoming the saviour for Bala survival

Cameron Ferguson son of Everton legend Duncan Ferguson, netted another goal for Bala since arriving from Flint Town United in the winter transfer window. Ferguson has scored six times for Steve Fisher’s side in ten games with three of those goals coming in the last three games.
The 22-year-old made an instant impact for Bala when he arrived with a goal against his former side Flint Town United in a 4-0 win. He followed that up with a further two goals with a goal against both Cardiff Met and Haverfordwest County.
With Bala looking to be down and out following their 0-0 draw with Llanelli, Ferguson has found his finishing touch becoming one of the most feared forwards in Phase Two as he has lifted the hopes of the Lakesiders to stay within the top flight. If Bala get relegated it is certain that there will be plenty of interest in the player as clubs in Wales and possibly England will be wanting his signature.
What does this mean now for Survival ahead of the final day?
With Bala beating Llanelli and Flint Town United losing to Haverfordwest County, Steve Fisher’s side sit two points from safety. What this means for survival is simple a win for Bala will be needed in hope for survival. However, due to Bala Town’s big win over Llanelli they can go level on goal difference with Flint Town United.

Bala face play-off hopefuls Briton Ferry on the final day whereas Flint travel to already safe Cardiff Met. These are the possible scenarios heading into the final day.
Bala will be relegated if they fail to beat Briton Ferry
Bala will stay up if they beat Briton Ferry and Flint lose or draw with Cardiff Met
How did we get to a final day relegation fight?
What once looked like a foregone conclusion that Bala would go down has turned into one of the most compelling survival battles in the Cymru Premier this season.
With just four games remaining, the Lakesiders appeared to be destined for relegation, sitting seven points behind Flint Town United ahead of a daunting clash with play-off chasing Haverfordwest County. Few would have predicted what followed.
Three matches later, Bala have reignited their survival hopes, taking two wins from three, including crucial victories over Haverfordwest and Llanelli as they slash the gap to just two points. The momentum has firmly shifted, and belief has been restored at exactly the right time.

In contrast, Flint’s form has faltered at the worst possible moment. Just one point from their last three games has dragged them back into danger, with a damaging 2–1 defeat to already relegated Llanelli proving especially costly. Even a draw in that match could have helped massively for their safety.

Bala benefit from a full two-week break heading into the final day, while Flint must first navigate the distraction of a Welsh Cup Final against Caernarfon Town in Newport. The possibility of European football while being in the second tier of Wales could be a possibility.
Flint still hold the advantage but one thing is certain, heading into the final day the pressure sits squarely on Flint and the fight to avoid the drop promises to go right to the wire.
