LIVE AUDIO COMMENTARY – Cardiff Met host Barry Town United in the Adran Premier

Sixth-placed Cardiff Met welcome Barry Town United to Cyncoed Campus on Sunday afternoon in a fixture that could prove significant at the foot of the Adran Premier table.

The Archers returned to the top flight this season after defeating Connah’s Quay Nomads in the North/South play-off, following a year in the Adran South. Their return campaign has produced mixed results so far, with four points from their opening five matches, although they suffered a heavy 7-1 defeat away to Cardiff City in their most recent outing.

Barry Town United, meanwhile, have endured a difficult start to the season. Still searching for their first victory, the Dragons sit bottom of the table after conceding 28 goals across their opening five fixtures. They recently appointed Stevie McCarthy-Campbell as manager for the second time, following James Fishlock’s decision to retire from football.

Both sides will view Sunday’s encounter as an important opportunity. Cardiff Met will be keen to build on their early-season points tally and move further clear of the lower reaches of the table, while Barry will be aiming to secure their first positive result of the campaign and climb off the bottom.
