Gresford Athletic’s Steve Halliwell and Porthmadog’s Sion Bradley have claimed the monthly awards for the month of February in the Huws Gray Alliance.
After winning four games on the bounce, Halliwell who took over from Eddie Maurice-Jones back in November on a temporary basis until the end of the season has seen his side sit rise up to third in the division. The run of form over the last two months, with only 2 defeats in 8 games has only emphasised the point of Gresford appointing Halliwell on a permanent basis.
In the month of February Gresford picked up four wins out of four games with the wins have seen Gresford climb up to third.

Sion Bradley who joined Porthmadog on loan from Bangor City has been enjoying life at Y Traeth since joining in January.
A notable brace against Flint Town United in which fans chanted, “We’ve got a steam train and Sion Bradley.” gave Porthmadog all three points in a 2-0 victory. Unfortunately for Porthmadog, Bradley could not prevent defeat in the Huws Gray Alliance Cup semi-final against Holyhead Hotspur, in which Bradley received his award.
