Cardiff Metropolitan host their final game of the year this afternoon when they welcome league leaders Barry Town United.
Gavin Chesterfield’s side created a two-point gap at the top following Connah’s Quay’s defeat to Bala on Boxing Day as the Dragons narrowly beat Met at Jenner Park Stadium.
Cardiff Met must win if they are to have any chance of securing a top-six spot but the chances are slim.
Barry Town United have won four of their last five Welsh Premier League fixtures. Cardiff Met have picked up just one win in their last five games.
Barry Town United though have never won at Cyncoed Campus in the Welsh Premier League.
