Wales C team manager Mark Jones named his squad to face England in Salford earlier today, after months of speculation around who would make the cut and who would miss out.
Here is how social media reacted to the squad announcement.
Daley was happy with the number of Barry players selected:
So i thought thete would be 3 Barry Town players and now there are 4!!!
Good job it isn’t the entire Barry squad 😉👏— Daley Chapman (@daleychappo26) March 6, 2019
Vaughany gave his reaction:
It must be very difficult to pick an 18. Jake Phillips the surprise for me, seen him a few times and all he does is throw it long. No Jon Hood, Simon Spender. Craig has done well this season and is very unlucky but Roberts and Hugh are both very good left backs.

Leigh highlighted a player he thinks should have been included:
Rob Hughes should have been in it

Former Bangor City manager Kevin Nicholson was pleased for one player in particular:
Congratulations to all of the players named in the Wales Squad for the ‘C International’ match against England. Delighted for @RobbiePatten – a young player I know well from our time working together at Cardiff. Am sure everyone involved will proudly represent the @WPL_Official. pic.twitter.com/f4NnSiihR8

Phil pointed out a common theme that the Wales C forwards share:
The list of forwards in the Wales C team shows how the @WPL_Official has changed. Quick, mobile players instead of the old target men. https://t.co/bPDouikaxE
