Six more arrive at Bangor City as rebuilding continues

Bangor City have confirmed four more new players for the upcoming season.

Emmanuel Agyemang, Harry Blackburn, Lewis Foster and Paul Cliff have all arrived at the Gwynedd club.

They are Stephen Vaughn Jnr’s first six signings, since being announced as manager of the Citizens.

Bangor City’s signings for the summer are now up to nineteen. Chairman Stephen Vaughn Jnr will be assisted by David Mannix and Luke Purcell.

Italian goalkeeper Gennaro Cuomo and Massimo De Maria have also joined the club.

21-year-old Agyemang joins after a spell in Italy with Novara. The forward previously had a loan spell with Mosta.

Vaughn Jnr said upon the signing of Agyemang: “Emmanuel is a big, strong attacking player with real athleticism. He’s someone I’d seen on-loan at Mosta, he’s impressed while he’s been on trial and will be a good addition to the squad.”

Lewis Foster, a youth academy product of Crewe Alexandra, joins Bangor City, having come to an end to a two-year scholarship with Salford City.

Foster can play as both a centre-back and a right-back in defence, as well as in defensive midfield.

After signing the Salford City scholar, manager Vaughn Jnr said: “Lewis has good grounding with coming through Crewe’s youth ranks and he can play in a number of positions. Only just 18, he is someone whose development I’m looking forward to keeping an eye on.”

Harry Blackburn and Paul Cliff are the other two signings, both being British based, like Foster.

Blackburn joins from non-league Clitheroe, where he worked alongside newly-appointed assistant manager Dave Mannix. The 20-year-old can play on the wing or as a forward.

Paul Cliff completes the quartet of new signings, having joined from Skelmersdale United.

Cliff who can play in defence or in midfield previously had spells in Wales with Holywell Town and Rhyl.

Azizou Zoumbare, David Thompson, Davide Salvatore, Emanuele Gianmaria Zaminga, Eugenio Dalia, Francesco Leghissa, Francesco Serafino, Gabriele Brino, Lucas German Surber, Massimo Sammartino, Nicolas Delvecchio and Pavel Viera make up the other additions at Bangor this summer.
