The first round draw of the JD Welsh Cup took place at FAW headquarters this afternoon, as teams from the Cymru Leagues entered the competition.
The stand-out tie is a Rhondda derby between Cambrian and Clydach Vale and Ynyshir Albions, two clubs who are separated by just 4.4 miles.
The lowest-ranked team left in the competition, Cardiff Corries, will have their uphill task made even harder by having to travel 94.5 miles to face mid Wales outfit Penrhyncoch, who play five tiers higher in the Cymru North.
South Wales Alliance League Premier Division side Cardiff Draconians will have the opportunity to compete against former Swansea City players Lee Trundle and Andy Robinson, having been drawn to face their current club Ammanford.
Nefyn United from the Gwynedd League will face eight-time Welsh Cup winners Bangor City.
Other long-distance ties include Llanidloes travelling 89.2 miles to face Trefelin at Ynys Park, as well as Penparcau’s 90.2-mile trip to play Abertillery Bluebirds.
Colwyn Bay make their return to the competition with an away tie at fellow Cymru North side Corwen.
