Welsh League: Which Division Three title-winning team is the best in this decade?

John Smith / Football Association of Wales.

It’s one of football’s great debates – which title-winning team will go down in history as the best of the best?

Over the span of ten years, there have been ten different winners. The Division was the lowest tier of Welsh League football and proved to be a platform for some.

Barry Town United and Llanelli Town used the league to help with their rebirth after their demotions.

Pontypridd Town attracted glamour friendlies against Deportivo La Coruna and Valencia before going on to lift the Division Three title.

Other teams like Penydarren BGC and Swansea University have made easy work of the Division with both lifting the title in their first season.

We’re putting it to the Y Clwb Pêl-Droed readers to choose the best title-winning team of the last years.

So see who won the titles in the last ten years and make your decision.
