Aston Villa are eyeing up AFC Bournemouth’s David Brooks in the January transfer window, according to reports.
The Mirror have reported that the Wales international is a priority for the Villains if they are to conduct any transfer business this month.
The 23-year-old has made 16 league appearances for the Cherries this season, assisting on five times and scoring three goals in the process. He was also influential in Bournemouth’s FA Cup victory over Oldham Athletic on the weekend.
Brooks also featured in four of Wales’ UEFA Nations League fixtures, helping guide them to promotion with a goal in the 1-0 win over Ireland.
Previously, Brooks had been linked with a move to Manchester United, with a fee of £40m branded about.
A move to the Premier League could enhance Brooks’ chances of a starting berth for Wales in the European Championships, which are due to take place this summer.
