Following the parting of ways with manager John Gall, Andrew Yorke has returned to the club for a second stint.
Nine years ago, York was at the Blaenau Gwent based side when they were bottom of Division Two but upon his arrival he kept the club up in a relatively stable position. He now finds himself in the same predicament as he did during his first tenure.
York’s playing days included being the Wales C team captain as well as captaining the Barry side that beat FC Porto 3-1 in 2001.
Secretary Riley Gray commented on York’s return to the club by singing his praises.
“We felt we needed to bring in Andrew because he is a very ggood coach, he is very popular with everyone at the club and his experience will be of great help to us as we try to move up the table.”
His first game as manager will be away against Panteg this upcoming Saturday.
