Ex-Bangor City loanee Jordan Davies scored his first career hat-trick for Wrexham earlier this week.
Davies scored three in the first half as Wrexham smashed fellow playoff hopefuls Halifax Town 4-0.
“I’m over the moon,” the midfielder said post-game. “It was such a big game because it could have given them a six-point gap in the last playoff spot.
“It was a big big game and I’m happy to impact the game in the way I have.
“I’ve had so many chances over the season, so for them all to go in in one game is great.”

He played 14 times for the Citizens before signing for Brighton and Hove Albion in January 2017.
Whilst playing in the Welsh Premier League he scored his first senior goal as Bangor beat Cefn Druids 3-2.
At the time, Davies was a left-back but has since shifted into the midfield.
Davies spent a total of three seasons with Brighton before rejoining Wrexham at the start of this season.
During his time in East Sussex, he helped Brighton U23 to promotion to the Premier League 2.
The Coedpoeth native also made a handful of appearances in the EFL Trophy.
Following his release, Davies rejoined his boyhood club on a 2-year deal in the summer.
So far this season he’s made 29 appearances in the National League, scoring four times.
The 22-year-old believes he has now come to grips with senior football in England.
“It’s been a shock, it’s been hand and it’s been demanding,” Davies said.
“I’ve played as many games this season than I have in the last three or four put together.
“I think throughout the season I’ve developed game management if you could put it like that.
“Now I understand the league, I understand my role and I know what I need to do on the pitch.”
