Welsh National League club Brymbo have setup a fundraiser after continued vandalism at their Sports & Social Complex home.
Their home ground was vandalised in 2017, with 22 seats being smashed and set on fire. Smashed glass and dumped bottles were also found pitch side.
The club has just 19 usable seats out of 50 and they have now been removed from the stand due to fears vandals may strike again.
The anti-social behaviour has continued at the clubs ground, with youths regularly congregating at the home of the third tier side.
With new rules and criteria being implemented by the Football Association of Wales, the club as a dilemma on their hands.
They have received a grant which has allowed them to build a new 50-seater stand, however with the lack of fencing around the ground, the club fears vandals may strike again.
To combat the possible vandalism, Brymbo have set up a GoFundMe page which would help raise funds towards funding security gates and fencing, protecting both stands and the dugouts.
“Brymbo Football Club would be sincerely grateful if you could help us in our quest against anti social behaviour and make a small donation to our cause.”
Last season Brymbo finished third in the Premier Division and were one of the applicants for the Tier Two Licence.
