Bangor 1876, Builth Wells, Hawarden Rangers, RTB Ebbw Vale, and Seven Sisters Onllwyn have all been given promotions to the Ardal Leagues to fill vacancies.

The FAW National League Board met in Cardiff today to discuss the memberships of the 64-times competing in the four regional leagues across Welsh football’s third tier.

Penparcau’s withdrawal from the league left a vacancy as did Bangor City’s pulling out of the Cymru North, with the three-time Cymru Premier winners now guaranteed to be below the phoenix club.

Rhayader Town after their reprieve in the Ardal South East following Aberbagoed Buds’ points deduction have been moved to the Ardal South East.

They have been joined by Llandrindod Wells, who were also in the division, as well as Llanuwchllyn who have moved from the North West.

Decision-makers opted to give RTB Ebbw Vale, who finished fourth in the Gwent Premier Division a promotion rather than giving a reprieve to Panteg, who finished 14th in the South East.

The same was replicated in the North where Hawarden Rangers, who finished fourth in the North East Premier Division, were given a promotion, ahead of a reprieve for St Asaph City.

Brickfield Rangers and Cefn Albion who will both ground share at Clywedog Park are both in different divisions, despite plying their trade at the same home stadium.

Aberbargoed Buds, Abertillery Excelsiors, AFC Porth, Blaenau Ffestiniog, Brymbo, Carno, Four Crosses, Kerry, Panteg, St Asaph City, Ton Pentre, and West End were all relegated from the third tier.

Meanwhile, Baglan Dragons, Brecon Corries, and Lliswerry who won their respective divisions in the South were promoted alongside runners-up Blaenavon Blues and Builth Wells, whilst Mumbles Rangers who finished second in the West Wales Premier League were promoted in the absence of Penlan Social.

In the North, CPD Rhyl 1879 and Bodedern Athletic of the two North Wales Coast Leagues had the licence and were promoted. Halkyn & Flint Mountain, who finished second in the North East PD took the other spot on merit too after champions Greenfield didn’t go up.
