Porthmadog manager Craig Papirnyk says his side will be aiming to finish their season on a high as they look to secure a top five place.
They currently sit fifth in the table, so a win would only strengthen their hold over that top five place.
Papirnyk’s side entertain Denbigh Town in their final home game of the season and the Port manager says his side will give it their all to send the home fans happy.
“We will be giving it everything we have to finish the last home game of the season with a win. I expect it to be a tough game of football, Denbigh have a quality side who play a good style of football. I can see it being a high tempo game and they’re an inform side so I expect it to be a very hard game for us.”
After Port’s game against Denbigh, they will have away games against Guilsfield and Penrhyncoch to finish off the season and Papirnyk says that his side want to finish off the season as strongly as possible.
“For me I want to win every week that’s just who I am, we’ve been on a bad run and I don’t want it to continue so it’s massively important that we finish on a high with the remaining 3 games which I feel are all winnable for us! It’s a long few months without football and if you finish the season on a low it’s a while before you can put things right again.”
The Porthmadog boss also sung the praises of the manager who will be in the opposition dugout in Eddie Maurice-Jones, both in football and outside of it, praising Denbigh’s choice of manager.
“Eddie is a top guy and a great manager he has proven that at Gresford and now his hard work is starting to show at Denbigh, it was always going to take some time for him but now they’re seeing that he was the right man for the job after Perry and the results are proof of that.”
Porthmadog will be without right back Gruff John Williams and midfielder Gareth John Evans.
“Right back Gruff John Williams is still out with his Abductor tear and Midfielder Gareth Jones Evans is still recovering from his Ankle Operation. Other than that the squad is all fully fit and after a two week break are raring to go.”
