Prestatyn Town have signed long-term manager Neil Gibson to a new three-year contract.
The former Tranmere trainee has been at Bastion Gardens for almost a decade, where he spent time as a player before taking the reigns as player-manager.
This season he has taken Prestatyn Town to the Huws Gray Alliance title with a commanding deficit over nearest placed Caernarfon Town. The Seasiders also narrowly lost on penalties to gap Connah’s Quay this season in the JD Welsh Cup Quarter-Finals.
Under Gibson’s guidance-ship over the last decade he has taken the club to Welsh Cup glory as well as taking the club to the Europa League Qualifiers.
The news goes alongside the open evening Prestatyn Town hosted as fans and sponsors pitched questions to Gibson on the contingency plans for next season as they prepare for life back in the Welsh Premier League.
