Warren Gibbs: Director of Football leaves Conwy Borough

Warren Gibbs has left his role as Director of Football at Cymru North side Conwy Borough.

Gibbs stands down from his role due to ‘time commitments’ away from football.

He originally replaced Gareth Thomas last season before stepping aside for Chris Morrell took the Tangerines hot seat.

A brief statement from Conwy Borough said: “The club would like to thank Warren for the positive impact that he has had since coming on board in December 2018.

“He leaves us in a creditable position in the table and we wish him well in the future.

“Everyone at the club is very pleased with the performances in what is a very tough league.

The players and staff have been first class and we are backing them to finish the campaign in a positive manner whilst looking ahead to maintaining the momentum next season.”

Warren Gibbs added to Conwy’s statement by saying: “Thank you to all players, staff and committee members that I’ve had the pleasure to work with @ConwyBoroughFC.

“I’ve met some great people at the club who will remain friends for life. I’ll look forward to watching how this group of lads progress in the future.”

Conwy Borough take on Penrhyncoch this coming Saturday.
