A wonder strike from Jackson Hall moved Port Talbot Town to second in the Welsh League.
Hall’s 20th minute goal was the only goal in a match low on quality, but not short on endeavour and passion.
After conceding, Simon Crook was shown two yellow cards for dissent, with Caldicot forced to play with a man light for more than 70 minutes.
They’re 19 points behind Town rivals Trefelin who lead the division with 54 points out of 20 games.
