Cardiff City and Newport County have received home ties in the first round draw of the Nathaniel MG Cup.
The Bluebirds will host Taffs Well, of whom they have played regularly in pre-season fixtures under Neil Warnock.
Newport meanwhile will welcome Undy Atheltic to Newport Stadium, having regularly played them in friendlies over the years.
Both sides are expected to field younger sides in the competition with Cardiff occupied in Sky Bet Championship action next Saturday against Swansea City and Newport are away to Leyton Orient in League Two next week.
Andy Legg will begin his second spell as Llanelli Town boss at home to Llantwit Major, meanwhile player-manager Hugo Colace will begin his tenure as Bangor City boss with a game against Gresford Athletic at Nantporth.
